Alright first on our list:

Alright, i have to tell all of you something, I love Calvin and Hobbes and well
has some REALLY great Calvin and Hobbes fan art [link] [link] plus some other awesome art! .. and i'm pretty sure she's a friend of a friend and we went to school together.. but never met..

This fallowing Deviant artist has some beautiful black and white pictures along with Black and White with a little color

This next person is not only a good artist but is a lot of fun to talk to and who i would now consider to be a friend (like Mr. River)

This person is very new and only has like 5 deviations, but i believe is very promising

This next person is my friends friend, she actually came to a college group party thing last night with my friend and had some of her art with her, Beth and I opened the sketch book and were right away in awe.

This person actually found me, i went to their gallery and saw that they have some awesome work, very new, started in October, and very awesome [link] [link]

Alright so hopefully you are still reading
but that's right, you guys asked for it!
A CONTEST!

here it is :
"Why winter is the best season of the year"

so the goal is to draw, write, collage, photo-manipulate, ect and show why winter is the best season of the year
now if you're saying "But The-pirateninja!! I don't think winter is the best season!!! " Well then, what i want you to do is have the title be more sarcastic. Then i want you to show either why it is the worst time or why it isn't as good as another time of the the year (spring, summer, or fall)

the deadline is January 5th that should give all of you enough time and me enough time to get a prize. The prize will be announced next journal , but i wanted to tell you now what it is so you guys can get working.

Also, i would like it to be only one entry per person, unless enough of you ask if you can submit a second one, but as for now, one per person

As far as judging goes, i will not be the only one judging, i will have two others with me.
