This was a shot i took at a sushi bar in little tokyo on my last visit, it's almost been a year since my last visit, which was in last August, i bought a few of my friends gifts and took lots of fun pictures, this is 1 of 2 i will be posting here from the trip

my friend made me the bad for my 19th birthday, and i luff the bad so much :D

most people are, you really need to try the right things, starting simple with something not so strong and work your way up, most peoples mistake their dislike for seaweed as their dislike for sushi

california roll is the best first step. TRUST!! i thought it was gonna be nasty, but its totally the BOMB! once you get your confidence with that you can try other things. i would suggest the tempura shrimp because its cooked. at least that way you get more flavors to experience before delving into raw

and dont go to an all you can eat place or a japanese restaurant. ironically japanese restaurant does not = good sushi, but sushi restaurant DOES = good japanese food.

all the sushi pics i took at my last birthday dinner didnt turn out :( all i had was a disposable jobby because my sony was in the shop and i didnt have the nikon yet

just wait though - our anniversary is in a couple months and that is always our celebratory meal. i'll get my own yet!!! :plotting:
